A Lifetime Dedicated to Fitness and Helping Others

Early Passion for Fitness

 

Growing up, I was always active and passionate about sports. While playing football in high school, I developed a deep interest in working out, discovering how it enhanced my performance and overall well-being.

Beginning of a Professional Path

 

In my freshman year at Mississippi State University, I became a certified personal trainer and started training people, focusing on aesthetics and strength improvement. I even placed second in a bench press competition during this time.

​Extensive Training Experience

 

Over the years, I’ve trained clients at the University of Southern Mississippi, Bally Total Fitness, Gold’s Gym, and independently through Fit Life Choices. My roles have ranged from personal trainer to fitness manager and even general manager, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the fitness industry.

Academic Excellence

 

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Houston, where I graduated summa cum laude. My academic journey provided a solid foundation in human physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and exercise programming.

Understanding Busy Professionals

 

While managing Anytime Fitness and juggling personal training clients starting at 5:00 am and ending often as late as 9:00 pm, I experienced firsthand the challenges busy professionals face. This insight helped me develop efficient workout programs that maximize time without compromising results.

Adapting to Life’s Changes

 

As I entered my mid 30s, I began experiencing injuries in my elbows, shoulders, back, neck, and knees from routines that previously worked in my younger years. I realized the importance of exercising for longevity to avoid injury while still achieving my goals. This led me to develop training methods focused on long-term health and wellness for myself and my clients.
